Abstract

Balai Bahasa Provinsi Papua, Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi as the institution that handles languages ​​in the Land of Papua is carrying out a Public Agency Development program in Prioritizing the State Language in Papua Province for 2022-2024. To target educational institutions, this program targets ten schools in Jayapura City. This research will measure the increase in the quality of use of the state language (Indonesian) in these ten schools. This quality improvement is the quality of the success of the Public Agency Development program in Prioritizing the State Language in Papua Province in 2024. The research was conducted using a quantitative description approach. The data that has been collected is then assessed and analyzed with the help of assessment instruments that have been validated by Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa he level of prioritization of the state language can be determined through assessing linguistic data collected from ten schools in Jayapura City. The language data assessed is language in public spaces and language in institutional documents. The linguistic data taken is in the form of photos of objects prioritizing the state language in public spaces and in official documents. There were 50 photos that became data samples and documents that became data samples were six official document documents. In general, the ten schools being coached have increased their language scores or prioritization of their country's language from 2022 to 2024.
